As angry and horrified as I am about what my government’s troops are doing in Fallujah, my heart still wrenches at the sight of a young soldier in his proud dress uniform. That he is visibly against the president who led us into this war makes the irony all the grimmer. I tell myself that soldiers sign up for the military, so they know they must face death, but my heart goes out to the young man (and his love and family). What a waste of life this war is. I am so sad.

W is the greatest president we ever had. If Kerry became president we would be screwed in times of war (especially when neccessary) and in the economy.

bush is the next hitler …and remember hitler thought he was doing gods works too….. the last time we mixed religon and politics in this country …people were burned at the stake!!! if i wanted to live in a country that was run by religon i would move to iraq!!!!! wake up people….

The last time we mixed religion and politics we got the Civil Rights Movement! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr was a deeply religious man who galvanized the hearts and minds of those who wanted to change the laws and the application of laws concerning Black Civil Rights. These are “Moral Values” and “Godly Values” and We The People can, once again, rise up and claim the goodness of humanity, the goodness of this nation and goodness of the future if we would but believe and ACT. How deeply ashamed I am by the actions of this administration and how hopeful I am that We The Poeple can truly make things change.

I don’t understand how killing babies and innocent people in Iraq (and around the world) is good, and abortion and gay marriages in the U.S. are wrong.

“W” is an evil evil man…. the only reason he was re elected (if he truly was) is that people just weren’t paying attention! There is (apparently) government control of the media. Things like the FBI investigation into the no bid Haliburton contracts, the inquiry into whether or not the election could be indefinately postponed and the comment that the United States need not adhire to the Geneva Convention in regads to the “War on Terror” Where exactly is that anyway?

Sorry world. I tried to elect a great leader, Kerry. Instead, we will have four more years of the president who made America the bad guys in the preemptive war with Iraq in which many innocent Iraqis have died.

I’m so sorry that half of the American people are so blind and ignorant. Bush is a murderer! He is the biggest flip flopper! He says he is against abortion but how many innocent people is he killing every day in Iraq. What country will he destroy? God help us all!

bush is going by his beliefs when it comes to all the issues he faces. as a christian, he believes that people are responsible for their actions (in this case, sex) and that the baby should be allowed to live. the mother can give it up for adoption if she doesn’t want it, but abortion is immoral. and in the Bible it says that homosexuality is an abomination against God, so bush is going with his beliefs. Thank God he’s back for 4 more years, kerry would have done the same pathetic job clinton did.

I find it sad that some Americans are more concerned with what people do in their bedrooms then what “Dubya” is doing to our country. I fear the next four years and what toll his idiocy is going to take on my family and this country. I pray for the day when we are back to being a truly democractic country and out from under the rule of this true dictator under the guise of “homeland security”.

Actions speak louder than words. Clinton did nothing when the world trade center/centre was attacked in 1993 by Bin Laden. Because of this it was attacked again, and destroyed in 2001. Should Bush have stood idley by like Clinton, and let thousands of his people be massacred again. I think not.

Not a very good comparison. We cannot leave the appeasement of the thirties occur again. After WW1, Germany’s army was limited to 10,000 troops. However in 1933, Hitler pulled out of the L.O.N.(it was like the U.N.) and grew his army upwards to a million. Countries like France, Britain and America just watched in hope Hitler would not invade surrounding lands. In 1939, Nazi troops invaded Poland, and so began the bloodiest war in history(WW2).
-Sadam Hussein can be compared to Hitler.
Just like the Sudtenland, Sadam believed Kuwait was his to take. The U.N. stalled Bush on entering Iraq to topple Sadam’s truly evil(this I think no one can argue against…having massacred over 200,000 of his so-called “own” people) regime.
Should Bush have stood by, like the countries of the thirties??? Or has he avoided a terrible war? Saving possibly millions of lives.
In conclusion, no two democratic countries have ever fought against each other(I cannot stress this point enough!!). Every sane person wants world peace, but dictatorship stops this. It will take time, but Bush is stepping in the right direction. Despite his profound mumbling and speech difficulty, he will be remembered as one of the most influential and significant American presidents of all time.
