A little off-topic, but I have always wondered why the scope of this discussion about evolution and creation is so limited. We have controversy about the age of the universe, the origin of species, and the whether or not the Earth was once flooded, but I have never seen a discussion of the origin of language diversity. It's interesting to me that Kansas (and other states) are fighting over the origin of species when the most bizarre claim that they could make and the one for which their organizations have the greatest amount of expertise concerns explanations the origin of language diversity.
