Several months ago, advertising pillars (<a href="http://www.paris.org/Curiosites/Kiosque/" rel="nofollow">Colonnes Morris</a>) across the city were plastered with images of <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0706787/" rel="nofollow">Aishwarya Rai</a> and backup dancers, for one of these films. Rai, by the way, is well known in France, having been the face of L'Oréal cosmetics, and having served on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival. Following Lagaan, there have been a few blockbuster Bollywood films that have received major releases in Paris.
