UPDATE: As Leila points out, it looks like Alberto Gonazales will be the next Attorney General. In the comments to a TalkLeft post, Tony writes:
“Gonzales says the “new paradigm” of the war on terrorism “renders obsolete Geneva’s strict limitations on questioning of enemy prisoners and renders quaint some of its provisions.”
So we traded in one guy who thinks porn and marajuana are the nation’s greatest security concerns with a man who practically endorses torture as a means of interrogation in this war on terrorism.
