Nicholas Kristof wrote two very important columns this week — here and here — on ethnic cleansing in the Darfur region of Sudan. Ironically, this slaughter is taking place as we approach the tenth anniversary of the genocide in Rwanda, which, recently released intelligence reports show, President Clinton almost certainly knew about before it reached its worst levels.
