As noted here previously, Taiwan is 1911 years behind the rest of the world in counting years. 2007 is thus the year 96 in Taiwan. So I was wondering … what will happen to Taiwan’s computers in four years? Will Taiwan have its own Y2K crisis in the year 100? Now it is true that Y2K turned out not to be the disaster some anticipated, at the same time, over 300 billion US dollars were spent to make sure that there weren’t any problems. Is Taiwan ready for 2011?
